Area Sales Manager - General Trade - FMCG (5-13 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate general trade sales strategy & business plans for Bengaluru
- To set up the sales & distribution structure & develop the go-to-market strategy
- Deploy region business/sales plan into specific plan by distributor/supervisor
- Provide training, coaching to sales team in order to help his/her team fulfil the task and to meet and exceed sales objectives and other company's expectations
- Formulate effective sales policies and procedures specific to the modern trade channel.
- Launch new products as per plan within allocated budgets/ resources
- Manage the P&L for the entire channel
- Competitor mapping, Gap Analysis
Experience :
- Master degree in Business Management, from a reputed business school.
- 5-10 years of proven work experience in Sales, in the FMCG industry, with an exposure to the food industry & cold chain products being an advantage.
- Should have spent the last three years in General Trade.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical rigor.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and people management skills.
