A leading Food and Beverage company is looking out for an Area Sales Manager for their brand.

Job purpose: To ensure achievement of sales volumes, market share and profitability targets as budgeted.
Key responsibilities: SALES
- To monitor the sales on day to day basis
- Ensuing Product Mix in the sales
- Ensuring cheque along with Permits
- Monitoring Competitors activity in Market
- Monitoring effective use of POP materials along with Co's products prominently displayed at all INSTITUTIONAL OUTLITS
- Working with Field Force in Market
- Provide effective customer service
OUTSTANDINGS:
- Control on outstandings
- Ensuring timely payment from Distributors/Govt Agencies, as per the stipulated time given to them.
- Control of Branch Imprest
- Control on journey plan for the Field Force in order to reduce expenditure while covering the maximum territory.
PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
- Monitoring Schemes in INSTITUTIONAL TRADE and DISTRIBUTORS.
- Monitoring and implementing successfully promotional activities from time to time
- Monitor and report competitor activity
COORDINATION WITH BREWERIES / EXCISE:
- To coordinate with Brewery on day to day basis in terms of getting the right Product Mix, Dispatch of goods to respective towns/distributors
- Monitoring of EVC's / - C- Forms
- Collecting data from Excise pertaining to competition
- Collecting information regarding Excise Rules and passing the same to Distributors/Brewery/H.O.
SUBORDINATE DEVELOPMENT:
- To give on-the - job training to subordinates
- To identify training programs for self
Measures to success:
- To achieve the sales target on day to day basis
- Ensuring Product Mix in the sales and cheque along with Permits
- Report Competitors activity in Market and use of POP materials along with Co's products prominently displayed at all INSTITUTIONAL OUTLITS
- Provide effective customer service
- Ensuring timely payment from Distributors/Govt Agencies, as per the stipulated time given to them.
- Implementation of Schemes in institutional trade and distributors and successfully promotional activities from time to time
- Co-ordination with the State Head on day to day basis in terms of getting the right Product Mix, Dispatch of goods to respective towns/distributors
- Collecting data from Excise pertaining to competition, Excise Rules and passing the same to Distributors/Brewery/H.O.
