Area Sales Manager - FMCG / Hygiene

Location : Cochin / Coimbatore / Hubli / Bangalore / Chennai/ NCR

- This role would be highly challenging to be a custodian of a Launch phase of a new category in the market and therefore requires a self starter with aggressive approach to appoint and monitor distribution channels in General Trade with following responsibilities :

- The role requires an excellent knowledge to plan, strategize and implement the sales programs in a particular region.

- Should Organize to recruit a good team of competent sales professionals to work in market.

- Managing the sales in their respective regions and each report to the Regional Manager Sales in the Zone. So, any change in the sales numbers, either positive or negative, in a particular region, is the result of the strategies and planning made by the Area Sales Manager.

- Developing a sales plan and effectively launch the product and monitor growth.

- To set a target for the salespersons, organizing them, and implement the strategies devised to increase the revenues.

- Need to constantly analyze the market, the consumption capacity of the consumers and project the expected return.

- Competent to handle sales issues in the market. regarding sales needs to be addressed. Surveying the market in order to understand a competitor's activity.

- Needs to collaborate with the marketing section of the organization in order to look for innovative means to influence consumers and improve sales.

- The distributors and consumers need to be made aware of any new product being brought to the market.

- Should be a effective Manager, organizer, and a leader. Good analytical skills and quick decision-making abilities.

- Handle the given territory for a good growth and capable of achieving increased targets and market expansions.

- Candidates Having FMCG Sales Experience From Well Reputed Companies Either In Personal Care /Hygiene Products Or OTC Range Will Only Be Considered. Higher Salary For Deserving Profiles Can Be Considered.

Language Proficiency : Tamil / Malayalam / Kannada as per territory.

- Those Having Lesser Experience Can Be Considered For Sales Executive Positions In Both Taminadu / Kerala / Karnataka Regions.

MBA from good B Schools would be desired.
