Position - Area Sales Manager (ASM) / Senior Area Sales Manager
Function - FMCG Sales (General Trade)
Location - Across Uttar Pradesh

Role Summary : To sales and distribution objectives at the area level within the assigned region.
Responsibilities :
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual volume and revenue targets
- Plan for territory specific strategies to meet the sales & distribution objectives for the region
- Plan and forecast for the coming months and quarters to ensure inventory readiness
- Execute targeted distribution & display in area as per plan
- Manage trade marketing and sales capability initiatives through the field force
- Control cost for the territory as per plan - subsidy, 3p manpower cost etc
- Enable adoption of digital initiatives in the territory
- Manage the distributors productivity and relationships
- Maintain sales hygiene by delivery of process KPI e.g. bills cut, man days, lines sold etc
- Maintain the right area team (including sales executives and officers and distributor sales staff)
Requirements :
- 4 to 10 years of experience in managing sales and distribution (general trade) in reputed FMCG companies
- Experience with sales automation and analytics
- Operate from a state HQ or CFA location with extensive field work
