Job Description :
An Area Sales Manager is expected to :
- Lead the team and service the customers for a particular product and geography
- Responsible for planning, budgeting for a particular product and geography
- Execute the Business Plan approved by the management and propose amendments to such Plans
- Sales Planning and Forecasting
- Achieving Sales Targets as per Annual Operating plan
- Work towards growth in revenue by increasing depth and width of distribution
- Establishing relationships with key customers
- Liaising with Marketing department for planning, budgeting & executing BTL campaigns
- Identifying growth areas and execute actions to leverage growth opportunities
- Closely monitoring competition activities across the chain
- Training, Development & Motivation of team
- Perform regular administration and management activities for the corporation
