Job Description

Position - Area Sales Manager (Beverage)

Industry - FMCG (Beverage)

Location - Goa

About Client

Our client is a renowned MNC and Market Leader in its operating space in the FMCG industry.

Key responsibilities:

- Planning and achieving primary and secondary sales.

- Conceptualizing consumer promos with regional marketing, manpower/ POP planning/ sourcing, executing the same, analyzing and reporting the impact.

- Driving numeric and weighted distribution and Planning and launching new products/ SKUs in market.

- Analyzing channels/ clusters/ syndicates/ retailers/ competition MS trend to identify gaps and take corrective actions accordingly. Reporting competition activities.

- Formalizing tie-ups with key accounts.

- Maintaining good relationship with trade partners (distributor, retailers, excise officials) by regular meets and engaging them in sponsoring events.

- Asset planning visibility planning (permanent/ semi-permanent).

- Working out ATL and BTL plans in coordination with Product managers and marketing team.

- Engaging with accounts and sales team to settle tie-ups claims, promotion/scheme claims, damage claims, branding expenses, freight bills and other expenses.

- Addressing product related complaints from trade and consumers with an attitude to retain the consumer.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience ranging from 2 to 8 years in Channel sales/ General trade in FMCG/ FMCD industries only.

- Must be a full time MBA.

- Must have handled Managerial (ASM/ TSM) role.

- Age must not be more than 36 years.
