Area Sales Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deployment and implementation of strategy and related initiatives
- Formulation and progress of OKRs for the team
- Managing and playing a lead role in business development efforts
- Clear understanding of territory and market intelligence
- Identifying areas for development and mapping the market; Formulating strategy for each area
- Dealer recruitment & onboarding
- Planning the requirement of promotional events and locations
- Develop a quarterly advertisement plan in coordination with marketing
- Dealer Performance Management and Continuous Improvement
- People development, identifying gaps, managing performance, skills and knowledge improvement
Role Requirements:
- 8-14yrsof Experience in Sales, Distribution, and People Management.
- Experience in building, training and nurturing performing teams
- Basic knowledge of the agriculture industry with knowledge on machinery such as pumps and their applications.
- Understands rural sales and marketing.
- Be able to proactively contribute to formulation and deployment of sales strategy. Experience of 3-4 years in this domain is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Position is a sales office & travel based role. It is not a work from home role (unless in exceptional circumstances).
