Area Leader - Employee Relations & Development - Plant (2-8 yrs)
We are looking for Area Leader - Employee Relations & Development to join our team of professionals at our Sricity plant.
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure positive employee relations through organizational development and by driving the plant labour strategy.
Job Context & Challenges:
Sri City is a strategic tooth brush manufacturing location in world and is growing in size. It will be a larger organization with associates numbering more than 1000 in two years- time. The plant has a young workforce which is relatively new to the organization. Hence there is an ongoing need to assimilate the existing and the new employees with CP Values, Culture and way of working. For long term and sustainable employee relations this position will work on continuous upgrading skills & competencies of people and organizational capability to achieve envisaged vision. The position will be responsible for multiple Culture building and alignment initiatives.
Functional linkages:
Internal: Plant leadership team, HO-HR, EOHS coordinator, FP & R coordinator, Medical officer, Global vertical (GTD), Business Services HR
External: Govt Bodies, Educational institutions, Hospitals, service providers, legal consultants
Key Accountabilities:
Accountability Related Activities
Organization Development & Diversity Management - Develop and implement plan for improvement of Capability, Cultural alignment, Diversity and Inclusion
- Periodic review and modifications if required
- Culture alignment initiatives
- Training and intervention design related to Values, MWR, CoC & Gender sensitivity
- Ongoing Small group training on the topics mentioned in previous point
Positive employee relations - Maintain Positive Employee relations in the campus
- Enhance employee connect and shop floor information
- Keep track on ER activities
- Participate in the committee meeting( canteen,
Welfare committee, transport, Safety)
- Employee engagement
Environment Management - Continuous Engagement and CSR initiatives
- Tie-ups with educational institutions, hospitals etc.
Personnel Management
- Personnel and general administration
- Statutory compliances
- Discipline and disciplinary actions
- Conducting inquiries required by statute
- Grievance redressal
- Counseling
Compensation Management
- Annual wage revisions/ Collective bargaining agreements
- Wage and salary administration
Human Resource Management - Recruitment, selection, and placement
- On-boarding /induction
- Performance management
- Managing Communication Platforms
- Preparation of HR SOPs
People capability standard - Skill and Capability building - S&C and Associate
- Skill Gap Analysis - shop floor team
- Prepare Road Map and drive Growth Path for technician and Group Technicians
- Drive Scope initiative and action plan
- Support on S&C IDP action plan
Reward and Recognition - Periodical Review the R&R initiative
- Effective Driving of R&R initiative
- Rewards/Gifts - Facilitate redemption of reward points
Experience:
Essential: Fluency in Telugu language. Business partnering experience in HR / ER. Exposure to organization development initiatives focussed on culture building.
Desirable: Hands on experience in employee relations and dealing with workmen, experience in the area of Gender sensitization, Diversity and inclusion, Training program design and delivery.
No. of yrs of Exp reqd.: Minimum 2 yrs of experience after HR specialization
Professional Qualifications & Training:
Essential: Post-graduation in Personnel Management / HRM
Desirable: Diploma/Certification in Training and Development
