Area Lead - Finance & Accounts - BFS/Telecom (7-10 yrs)

Qualification - CA / ICWA / MBA (finance)

Key Accountabilities

1. Development of organization's operations in the Area in line with the business plans and ensuring that guidelines established by the centralized FC&A function with respect to planning, accounting, control and reporting are adhered to

2. Review of consolidated revenue and expense plans and variance analysis

3. Business and customer analysis viz. usage and churn analysis

4. Area level revenue accounting responsibilities including monitoring of daily revenue (plan vs. actual) at area level, subscriber reconciliation between billing and switch and validation of billing error adjustments

5. Validation of bi-directional (Incoming and outgoing) interconnect usage validation with other operators

6. Area level collections responsibilities including the appointment of the external agency for collections and appointment and driving external agency for recovery of bad and doubtful debts

7. Analysis of internal and external data on a periodic basis to support business at Area level

8. Analysis and monitoring of product/scheme profitability

9. Compliance requirements including state-level compliance (regulatory including TRAI / VAT / statutory) and handling litigation

Key Performance Indicators

1. % Achievement of Organizational Performance Measures (EBITDA for the state) (- 95%)

2. % Adherence to the state budget (- 95%)

3. % Adherence to timeliness for periodic financial closure & Performance Reports to management (100%)

4. No. of process/system/documentation non-compliances identified in - control- audits (- 2)

5. No. of deviations identified in course of internal/external audit (- 2)

6. % Savings in Capex and Opex projects due to process/ systemic improvements over last year (- 5%)

7. % Tax savings improvement through efficient tax planning /optimization compared to last year (- 5%)

8. Internal customer rating for the FC&A function (- 4)

9. % of critical positions with 1+ potential successors with readiness within 6 months (- 90%)
