Must have acumen in developing and implementing SCM Planning strategy as well as monitoring the same. Responsible for high degree of MIS analysis & interpretation. Key Roles and Responsibilities : Financial SCM Planning & Control : - Monitor and control Inventory levels in close coordination within prescribed limits with Production and Sales - Increase sales through improved product availability and minimal sale loss for Whole Sale, MT, Exports Customer Oriented Process Improvement : - Review and execute Portfolio rationalization across all divisions - Participate in S&OP reviews to improve performance of supply chain planning People Oriented Training & Development : - Review team performance & improve efficiency through training & development - Introduce best SCM Planning practices and its tracking & monitoring mechanism Internal Business Process SCM Planning & Control : - Oversee preparation of unit & SKU wise production plan, fixing ROL, order quantity & stock levels - Undertake special projects to identify and optimize FG SLOB inventory - Improve demand forecast accuracy - Monitor daily production plan vs actual period wise plan - Monitor constraint in capacity & get the maximum production output as per the market demand Distribution planning : - Review RDC utilization and oversee stock transfers to RDCs - Maximize utilization of RDCs Documentation : - Maintain ISO documents related to SCM Planning - Ensure that all functions are carried out as per procedure - manual - Maintain score card file for monthly review meeting Competencies : Technical/Functional Behavioral : - Inventory management - Cost benefit analysis - Process documentation - Assertion - Leadership skills - Customer focus - Collaboration - Adaptability - Result orientation - Execution excellence Key Result Areas Quantitative / Qualitative : - % adherence planned v/s achievement of SCM planning - Lost sales for defined portfolio - Month end inventory days - Quality/Accuracy of Forecasting basis : a) Demand b) Sales projection c) Historical date Key Stakeholder Management : Internal : Head - Manufacturing, VP-Manufacturing, VP-Sales External : Nil
