Aptiv - Manager - Internal Communications & Talent Branding (6-10 yrs)
THE ROLE:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to drive the execution of assigned internal communication and talent branding activities. This role will co-ordinate with stakeholders, assist in creating and designing communication plans, and drive the implementation of communication activities.
The individual also needs to track and analyze the performance of all activities, while ensuring that the overall branding guidelines are adhered to and messages are aligned to strategic objectives and goals.
HIGH-LEVEL ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Internal Communications
- Understand Aptiv business values and employee value proposition, to contextualize and translate the key initiatives into everyday practice ensuring brand, messaging, and design consistency
- Development and tactical program execution of creative and compelling internal communications content that will inform, connect, and engage with Aptiv employees. This includes (but is not limited to) coordinating, planning, writing and sending email updates, bulletins, internal videos, and other information to employees
- Play the role of a consultant to the business and other stakeholders on driving communications that inform, engage and inspire all employees
- Managing and contributing to internal company collaboration and communication tools
Talent Branding :
- Understand core Aptiv candidate value proposition and Aptiv brand positioning, to contextualize and translate it into everyday practice ensuring brand, messaging, and design consistency
- Contribute with creative ideas for campaigns and, project manage the execution of communications, branding and promotional artefacts through a variety of mediums
- Sourcing content ideas, writing, and creating & maintaining a strong content pipeline for our careers blogs, social media channels, and careers pages on website, for use in campus, etc. to promote Aptiv as a preferred place to work
- Sourcing opportunities for Aptiv's participation in awards, speaking opportunities, events, etc. and project manage the execution for the same
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :
- Approx. 6yrs to 10yrs years of similar experience with B2B technology services or products firms, or a PR /Digital/Marketing agency working with technology services clients is preferred.
- Proficiency in writing, messaging, communication and presentation development skills.
- Knowledge of internal communications and brand building, brand development and brand equity measurement frameworks and practices
- Must have strong networking skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Ability to bring ideas that ensure differentiated, creative content (design and messaging) are on target. Must be able to clearly understand briefs and take them forward to execution
- Needs to be self-driven and have the ability manage deadlines, timetables, multitasking and competing priorities
- Should be able to work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders and creative teams (internal & external)
- Basic knowledge of working with design tools such as the Adobe Suite, and today's marketing & communications ecosystem - Social Media, Intranets, Content Management Systems, etc. will be preferred.
