Apster.com.au is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about building mobile products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work within a cross-functional team to design, build and roll-out products that deliver each customer's vision and strategy.

Position: Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

Gain a deep understanding of customer requirements, analyze customer briefs, create detailed scoping documents and user stories to enable cross-functional teams to then implement.

Identify and provide ideas to correct product gaps.

Provide ideas that will improve user experience.

Prioritize tasks (user stories) based on business value and customer impact

Work closely with developers within and between cross-functional teams to deliver products within tight timeframes.

Manage a team of Business Analyst and monitor their deliverable.

Candidate Specification:

8+ years of business analysis experience

Proven track record as a business analyst dealing with all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle - preferably mobile applications

Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and mobile technologies and Agile methodology.

Strong problem solving skills and willingness to assist the cross-functional team in whatever tasks need completing (e.g. helping with testing, assisting the Project Manager / Scrum Master with removing impediments

Skilled at working effectively within cross functional teams

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent discipline preferred

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment highly regarded
