Country Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the Finance Department, overseeing all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) operations. Manage monthly account closings, prepare annual statutory financial statements, conduct audits, and file various tax returns.

- Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports that analyze business performance against budget and prior year results. Provide actionable insights to management to enhance financial performance and drive excellence.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements across the organization.

- Collaborate with departmental managers to address instances where expenses exceed approved budgets, working together to develop strategies to bridge financial gaps.

- Enhance and manage working capital health, focusing on AP and AR aging in alignment with financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Oversee and optimize monthly liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and cash position, ensuring timely fulfillment of payment obligations, including loan and interest repayments, in accordance with company policies and KPIs.

- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax reporting, statutory audit requirements, and annual filings.

- Partner with the Legal team to secure necessary business permits, licenses, insurance, and clearances by preparing and submitting required documentation and fees to government agencies and regulatory bodies.

- Maintain robust financial controls, including reconciliations and proper audit trails, in line with company policies.

- Ensure that all projects and financial deliverables are completed within established deadlines.

- Utilize hands-on experience with financial software such as NetSuite, Tally, and ERP systems.

- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Group CFO.

Experience & Qualifications:

- MBA Finance / Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred

- Experience: 8 to 15 years
