Application Service Delivery Manager - PLM, QA & REGULATORY

The Application Service Delivery (ASD) Manager - PLM, QA & REGULATORY is a leadership role within the IT Application Service Delivery Organization that will provide global leadership and oversight for IT ASD Individual Contributor analysts and technicians.

- This position is responsible for the management and supervision of global IT resources and accountable for the resolution of enterprise application functional and technical incidents, and for the building and deployment of business application projects and enhancements related to PLM (Recipe development), QA & Regulatory.

- Working independently or with minimal supervisory oversight, the incumbent will provide global supervision for supporting enterprise systems for global computing environment.

- The incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of IT processes, the management of IT resources at a global level including the setting of Goals, the management of overall employee performance and talent development of leadership positions.

- The incumbent will provide support for the IT global disaster recovery program, and work closely with IT Business Solutions, ASD and other McIT team members on the design, installation, and configuration & support processes of the enterprise application. IT ASD Manager will assist in the development and deployment of IT strategic objectives, including the implementation of IT Operating Model.

Key Role and Primary Responsibilities:

- Development and implementation of IT strategic initiatives including driving the SAP and other Enterprise Application. Provide oversight on all the Enterprise applications in PLM, QA & Regulatory which include design, installation & configuration of the application, working closely with Business Solutions and other McIT teams on the monitoring, backup, Disaster Recovery, system upgrade & testing strategies.

- Supporting the BRM to define Product Lifecycle Management IT technology roadmaps and solutions

- Working closely with the BRM on process improvements (introduce, develop and implement more efficient ways of working)

- Talent development and employee performance management (coaching, training, knowledge transfer)

- Develops in PLM area functional designs that address business requirements and leverage strategic IT solutions more precisely in EH&S, packaging, SDS (Safety Data sheet).

- Develops in QM area functional designs that address business requirements and leverage strategic IT solutions in SAP QM and Global Batch Traceability

- Understanding of product characteristics, ingredient, allergen, regulatory information the person must be in position to participate in functional discussion with the business.

- Management and supervision of direct reports cross the globe

- Understanding of quality assurance and quality control business practices such as compliance to industry standards through auditing, inspections, traceability and customer expectations enabling participation in functional discussions

- Define, Create & Retain documentations for all enterprise applications

- Define, create, measure and review Application Service Delivery Metrics/KPIs

- Administrative (Financial management, performance reporting, peer collaboration)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or related field. May consider 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. (Required)

- Solid experiences of project implementation, configuration and support of SAP RM/RD or other PLM applications. (Required)

- In-depth experience of recipe/formula development, EHS/Regulatory and QA processes in Food & Beverage industries. (Preferred)

- Eight or more years- experience delivering IT projects, actively participating on virtual teams, developing strategic goals and performing incident resolution in a regional or international context (Required)

- 10 or more years of demonstrated relevant experience troubleshooting and incident resolution in a fast paced, highly complex environment supporting ERP systems, legacy systems, application development. (Required)

- Demonstrated strong communication skills in verbal and written form with the ability to discuss technical information with non-technical individuals across multiple cultures and countries (Required)

- Demonstrated effective strategic thinking and problem-solving skills (Required)

- Demonstrated ability to operate in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment with team members and internal customers (Required)

- Knowledge of Dev Ops processes and tools (Preferred)

- Must be fluent in English (Required)

- Must be able to work individually and within a team environment. (Required)

- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization (Required)

- SAP QM, SAP MM, Recipe and BOM expertise (Preferred)

- Experiences with S4 HANA (Preferred)

- Experiences with Dangerous goods SAP configuration (Preferred)

- Clear expertise in material master data from characteristic, regulatory, food technical, quality assurance standpoint. (Preferred)
