Job Title : Supply Planner

Level : A/M

Reports to : Divisional Head-SCM

Organization Unit / Location : HO

Main Purpose of Job :

- Supply chain planning & execution ex assigned plant

- Category planner for assigned material group

- To proactively fulfil the demand of all the ABUs

- To monitor the performance of FGS despatches and RDC despatches

- To support function with MIS relating to SCM performance

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary :

- Daily monitoring of availability service levels and aligning the same to market changes.

- Distribution Planning from Plant FGS to RDCs & ABUs

- Category management at national level for assigned category

- Co-ordinating with logistics and plants for despatches ex-plants

- Generate SCM related MIS for department to enable decision making

KPIs & Dimensions :

- Availability - SO Index, Sale Loss & ATP fulfillment

- Direct Despatch percentage and deliverables on cost

- Improvement Projects

Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field) :

Knowledge (Technical / Functional) :

- Knowledge of SAP is essential

- Knowledge of tools in demand planning, supply planning and other business processes like S&OP

Skills :

- Planning Skills

- Communication skills

- Team and people management

- Customer (internal and external) focus

Qualifications :

- BE, MBA

Experience :

- 2-5 years in Demand & Supply Planning in multiple source environment

- Exposure to manufacturing environment is desirable

- Experience of handling a team
