SUMMARY:

Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) was set up by APCRDA Act 2014, as the nodal agency responsible for the purpose of Planning, Co-ordination, Execution, Supervision, Financing, Funding and for Promoting and Securing the Planned Development of the Capital Region and Capital City Area for the State of Andhra Pradesh and for managing and supervising urban services in the New Capital Area and for the matters ancillary thereto.

- Additional Director, Information Systems shall be responsible for activities in Information Systems division such as Application Software Development, IT Infrastructure management and APCRDA website Management related responsibilities.

- He/ She shall work under the overall supervision and direction of the Director, Information systems division.

- Team Leader Application Support shall report to Additional Director, Information Systems and shall be responsible for Application Software development for Office Management, HR, Finance related application.

- The above posts are temporary and will be filled on contract basis for a minimum period of 1 year initially and may be extendable up to next two years- subject to exigencies of work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop SRS for new applications.

- Prepare scope of work for new projects.

- Provide necessary support to the Director (Information Systems) in Preparation and implementation of IT policy for APCRDA.

- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.

- Manage backup, security and user help systems.

- Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.

- Develop computer information resources, develop policies for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.

- Consult with users, management, vendors, and Technical Support Teams to assess computing needs and system requirements.

- Stay abreast of advances in technology.

- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

- Provide users with technical support for computer problems.

- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions.

- Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. 12+ years working experience in relevant field for the post of Additional Director, IS
