Automation / IT Director (10-20 yrs)

This position will provide strategic thought leadership, Data & analytics strategy, roadmaps, technology, and approaches to the creation and management of Enterprise data platform for multiple key strategic accounts for APV and its customer. The role needs to perform both delivery and presales on large Automation and transformation programs that drives strategic data initiatives for large and small clients. The person needs to be a hands-on Architect with an ability to interact with various types of personas including CXO, VP, Director, PMO, and Developers.

Responsibilities:

- Wins new business by working cross-functionally with sales and delivery to develop client proposals and presentations around process and solution options, clearly explaining technical concepts for shared understanding to facilitate decision-making.

- Define Data Governance policies and procedures for large clients with multi-country presence

- Define high level data and analytics strategic including technology components such as AI/ML, Analytics, MDM, and Big Data (among others)

- Be responsible for gathering and transforming field internal external partner's requirements for AI related architecture and design specifications.

- Able to strategically define a roadmap that will deliver the data capabilities to meaningfully deliver tangible business outcome

- See the whole picture (the forest, not the tree) of the business, it's drivers, actors involved and processes, that will allow her/him to help the team that is more on the day to day on not losing sight of that big picture and the north they are following

- Define the goals of the program and key KPI's/OKR's to measure and monitor them

- Proactively develop strong relationships with Business and IT leaders from the C-suite level to front line delivery consultant

- Work with APV Executive leaders and act as a SME to build trust with clients, stakeholders and team members alike, with empathy, great communication and negotiation skills

- Engage with the project teams and the business to understand project resource needs

- Able to present and speak freely on topics such as MDM, BI, AI/ML, APIM, and DevOps in the context of data platforms

- Must have experience in clearly articulating value proposition of large platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

- Must be able to deliver Executive presentations that includes cost, timeline, scope, and reference architecture of end to end data platforms or specific capabilities

Qualifications:

- At least 10+ years of total IT experience with 5+ most recent years as Data Strategist/Data and Analytics Solutions Architect

- Most recent 3+ years leading Data Governance Strategy and Implementation

- Most recent 5+ years referenceable experience in championing AI/ML and RPA solutions

- Most recent 5 years experience at a senior level in a Solutions Architect function in very large consulting engagements [top Fotune 100 companies]

- At least 5+ years in Solutions Sales for IT Services in Data, AI, and BI

- Must have at least 2+ years involved in Machine Learning and AI

- Must have prior and recent projects implementing MDM, Big Data, and AI solutions

- Last 2-3 years of consulting in Data Strategic and large Data platform delivery in AWS or Azure

- Ability to evaluate and develop efficient and effective operational processes.

- Ability to think strategically from a program operating model perspective

- Proven conflict management skills and professionalism.

- Ability to guide others to adaption to change in the workplace.

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to liaise with people at all levels within an organization.

Preferred Skills:

- Most recent 5+ years of Experience in the supporting USA public sector services industry.

- Most recent 2+ years of experience managing large enterprise Data Platform and/or Cloud platform projects

- At least 5+ years of dealing with senior leaders across client organizations with an ability to present executive presentations, weekly status reports, and monthly scorecards
