Aon - Analyst - Business Strategy (3-9 yrs)
Assist the Strategy Head of Aon Global in the areas of Strategy Planning, Business Process Improvement, Marketing, Communication and new Business Development. Provide required review and control reports, develop business plans and proactively monitor the major business value drivers. Take up special projects for the business as assigned from time to time. Prepare presentations and other communication required by the Strategy Head to address internal as well as external audiences.
1. Strategy Planning
1.1. Participate in the Annual Business Planning and Budgeting exercise by collating the multiple inputs required for the exercise. Undertake sensitivity and other required analyses of the data in order to derive the forecasted numbers.
1.2. Prepare analysis for quarterly meetings of India Leadership teams
2. Business Process Improvement
2.1. Collate and review the financial and operational performance reports of the branches and verticals. Provide detailed analysis on key value drivers for revenue growth
2.2. Provide insights into key areas for business process improvements and lead implementation efforts by working with business heads. Monitor progress against the targeted outcomes & report for deviation
3. Marketing and Communication
3.1. Work with the Marketing and Strategy teams to monitor market developments/ trends/ outlook and develop forecasts. Provide inputs on the same for decision making.
3.2. Assist the Strategy Head in preparing high impact presentations and statements for reviews with the CEO, India Leadership Team, press and other key entities.
3.3. Facilitate periodic communication with overseas and India based units on various business initiatives. Help design the communication depending on the audience profile.
4. Special Projects
4.1. Assist the Strategy Head in special projects which may be taken up due to business needs - e.g. improving the Sales Strategy, identifying the optimal organization structure or headcount, improving the incentive structure, etc.
4.2. Monitor various articles published in magazines, internet, etc. related to the recent developments and global industry trends and provide analysis to the Strategy Head. Closely track market news of key competitors
- Education Qualification = MBA from reputed institutes is preferable
- Work experience = 3-7 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy roles
- Reporting to: Manager, Business Strategy
- CTC = As per industry norms
