Manager / Senior Manager - Finance & Strategy - IFC


- S/he will be managing aspects of finance & strategy, risks and controls, cost optimization, various audits, verifying transactions, IFC, internal, statutory and technology audits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand business & industry issues/trend. Identify areas requiring improvement in the business processes to enable preparation of recommendations. Gain a thorough understanding of the business processes.

2. Ensure compliances with regulations, board approved policies & SOP's applicable for the respective departments. Report violations, review of SOP's and suggestions for improvement.

3. Co-ordination of various external audits with audit partners like IFC audit, ISO audit, internal audit, stat audit etc. Coordinate follow up audits to monitor management interventions.

4. Conducting IFC (Internal Financial Control) testing and reporting of all the findings. Identify key weakness in internal processes across the business and support functions of the company.

5. Reporting that reflects results and document the processes. Discuss any identified issues with the process /control owners and obtain action plans for remediation.

6. Understand Risk identification, risk classification, risk assessment. Work on cost effectiveness.

7. Review of Risk control matrix and timely updating for any changes in process/control. SOX compliances and follow internal auditing standards issued by IIA & ICAI. Ad hoc assignments, with wider CFO objectives.

The candidate should have:

1. Work Experience: 4-8 years in audits/ internal controls/ IFC; preferably from Insurance/ broking or regulated financial service organizations, or at a minimum have a service industry experience.

2. CA (preferably with ISA/ DISA) or CIA (from IIA).

3. The candidate is expected to utilize interpersonal and communication skills, with strong knowledge of controls, accounts, laws and regulations.

4. Individual contributor (IC), pro-active, process oriented, and a team player.
