- CEO for a manufacturing and marketing firm in the Agro-Chemical Industry - We are a 25+-year-old Delhi-based Agro Chemical company engaged in manufacturing and marketing of pesticides such as weedicides and insecticides as well as household and public health products. Our company has a national presence with sales offices in 23 states and an extensive dealer and distributor network. The company has established its brand in the domestic market and is also engaged in exports to several international markets. Company's annual turnover is in the region of INR 250-300 cr and it has been making a healthy profit margin consistently. - While the company has been largely promoter family-driven so far, we are looking to professionalize the management going forward and bringing in a CEO to work closely with the management while charting the growth path and the way ahead for the company. - Candidates should be a minimum 45/50+ year of age. Past experience in the pesticides industry along with experience/ capability to run an operating business will be key. - He/She would be required to think strategically and execute across corporate functions taking the overall responsibility of running and steering the company ahead. - Strong understanding of marketing through a Regional-State-District-Distributor-Dealer network system at a national level will be a key contributor to success. - The candidate should ideally have a post-graduate degree though this can be waived for a veteran from the industry. Temperamentally, the candidate should be driven by creating value, taking an ethical approach to running the business and ability to work with the members of the promoter group towards outcomes that are beneficial for the family and the business. - Compensation/ Incentive will be competitive and also linked to value creation.
