The Role: Antler India is hiring for an Associate for its India Operations. While this role involves working closely with the core team across investing, portfolio, the Founders Program and more, we also ensure a high degree of autonomy for all our team members. At Antler - our number one success metric is the success of our founders; as an Associate, you will be expected to use your and Antlers global resources to help our founders through their journey. While your primary focus will be India, you will be part of a larger global team with access to work with top founders and companies in the Antler portfolio. This role is based in Bangalore. Responsibilities: - Evaluate leads and opportunities for Antler India's Founders Program and future seed investments - Identify, diligence and execute investment opportunities across sectors at early-stage startups - Conduct due-diligence and provide insight and analysis to the partners and Investment Committee as required - Research and create detailed theses on targeted sectors or themes of interest to Antler India - Work with the Program team to design or iterate on specific programs or founder initiatives during the program - Collaborate globally with Antlers teams to identify ways to create a great founder experience pre and post investment for Antlers portfolio founders - Contribute to engines or products that add value to our portfolio companies - Help portfolio companies leverage opportunities and partnerships across the Antler ecosystem globally and in India, in particular Skill-sets and competencies: - Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in technology, startups, consulting or finance. Early-stage startup experience and/or ex-founders strongly preferred - Strong analytical skills - having the ability to learn quickly and arrive at analytical decisions across a wide range of fields - Superb communication and writing skills - Self-starter who is comfortable with a cross-functional role akin to an early stage startup - Strong ability to build relationships across the startup / tech ecosystem - Skills/Behaviours that would lead you to success in this role: - High alignment with Antlers values and mission.
