Develop and execute effective government relations strategies to support business development goals and initiatives. 2. Establish and maintain productive relationships with key government officials, departments, and agencies at the local, state, and national levels. 3. Monitor and analyze government policies, legislation, and regulations relevant to the software consulting industry. 4. Identify and assess opportunities for government funding, grants, and partnerships that align with the organization's objectives. 5. Advocate for the organization's interests and priorities to government stakeholders through effective communication, presentations, and lobbying efforts. 6. Coordinate and participate in meetings, conferences, and industry events with government representatives to promote the organization's services and capabilities. 7. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, insights, and feedback on government-related matters to inform business strategies and decision-making. 8. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance with government regulations and policies. 9. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities. 10. Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations on government relations activities and outcomes. Qualifications and Experience : 1. Proven experience of 15-20 years in government liaison and business development, preferably within the software consulting industry. 2. In-depth knowledge of government structures, policies, and decision-making processes. 3. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing government relations strategies that resulted in business growth and favorable outcomes. 4. Strong network of contacts within government circles and a track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. 5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. 6. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate through complex government landscapes and identify opportunities. 7. Proficient in analyzing and interpreting government regulations, policies, and legislation. 8. Strong negotiation and influencing skills to advocate for the organization's interests. 9.
