Job Title: Senior Manager, Controllership

Reports to: Director of Finance

Location: Gurgaon

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Controllership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication and management abilities, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality results

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP-Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or IFRS- International Financial Reporting Standards. ), regulatory requirements, and company policies

- Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data

- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and implement audit recommendations

- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models

- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

- Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws

- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the organization

- Ensure closure of books of accounts as per timelines,

- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages

- Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets

Requirements:

- CA with minimum 8 years of experience post qualification. with at least 3 years in a leadership role

- Strong technical accounting skills, with expertise in GAAP or IFRS

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
