Manager Finance Job Description :

Scope of Position: Play a critical leadership role in developing and implementing the company's financial and growth strategies. The position requires a person who can implement and manage the firm's financial responsibilities (including planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities) while being cognizant of the Company's culture and core values of success.

- Will be responsible for all finance, accounting, tax, portfolio valuation, financial reporting, investor reporting, Investment process and office operations for the firm.

- Manage all external audit, tax and service relationships of the firm.

- Have overall responsibility for creating and maintaining all financial policies and procedures of the firm.

- The individual will assist with investment funding, investment DD process, monitoring of investment performance, investor relations, firm distributions, and human resources activities of the firm.

- In addition, the individual will have responsibility for the firm's office, administrative and general infrastructure needs.

Specific Responsibilities will include :

- Coordinate finance activities including quarterly reporting for the funds, tax compliance and financial reporting

- Supervise a small team responsible for: general finance, fund and management company accounting,

- Ensure that accurate, timely analysis and reporting of financial information in line with the firm's goals and objectives

- Oversee preparation of fund financial statements; supervise fund audits and tax matters

- Cash management, including monitoring cash balances, capital requirements, investment funding, manage reserves, etc.

- Contribute to business/operational/legal due diligence prior to investment

- Contribute to post-investment business review, planning and implementation, including sourcing/hiring permanent operators as necessary

- Collection, review and maintenance of portfolio company financials and reporting

- Oversee portfolio valuations

- Oversee distributions and other communications with limited partners

- Assist in Partners relationships, investor meetings, due diligence and fundraising

- Contribute to briefing and management of external legal counsel in preparation and review of complex legal agreements, including limited partnership agreements and portfolio company deal documents

- Work closely with external parties, including auditors and tax professionals, attorneys, and limited partners

Requirements :

- At least 3 + years of experience

- 2+ as a Finance and legal manager with Corporate transaction experience highly desirable

- CA/MBA in accounting, finance, or business administration is desired

- Detail oriented individual with ability to multi-task and work in an entrepreneurial environment is a must. Excellent written and oral communications skills are critical.

- High level of integrity and the capacity to work under tight deadlines with a strong results orientation

- Understanding of venture fund structures, share holding agreements and valuations desirable.

- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without significant supervision.

- Able to adapt to frequent changes in the business operating environment

- Strong team player with loyal cooperative spirit

- Willingness to participate at all levels to get the job done (hands on person)

- Demonstrated analytical, accounting/financial, and communication skills

- Ability to develop strong relationships with a wide variety of audiences
