Global Finance Manager
Job Overview:
- The Global Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's global financial strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of international taxation, tax compliance, incorporation processes, management of global subsidiaries, tax structuring, and Importer of Record (IoR) responsibilities.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex financial operations across multiple countries and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:1. International Taxation:
- Oversee and manage the company's international tax strategy.
- Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular tax risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Advise on the tax implications of international business transactions.
2. Tax Incorporation and Structuring:
- Manage the incorporation of new subsidiaries and legal entities in various jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement effective tax structures to optimize the company's global tax position.
- Provide guidance on transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
3. Global Subsidiary Management:
- Oversee the financial operations of all global subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with local finance teams to ensure compliance with local regulations.
4. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, both domestic and international.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
5. Importer of Record (IoR) Responsibilities:
- Manage the IoR process for international shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations.
- Optimize the IoR process to minimize costs and delays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international finance, with a focus on taxation and compliance.
- Proven experience in managing global subsidiaries and financial operations.
