Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

- Analyze business performance, key metrics, and profitability drivers for both retail stores and e-commerce channels.

- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and drive business strategies.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations and reporting requirements.

- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

- Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure liquidity for business operations.

- Oversee the company's banking, treasury, and credit management relationships.

Cost Control & Optimization:

- Monitor and analyze cost structures across the business, including inventory, logistics, and operational costs.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives to enhance profitability without compromising product quality or customer experience.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

- Oversee tax planning and compliance, including sales tax, VAT/GST, and other relevant taxes.

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and handle communication with tax authorities.

Systems & Process Improvements:

- Oversee the implementation and management of financial systems and tools for efficiency and automation.

- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

2. CA Qualified

3. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting in Retail & e-commerce industry
