Analytics Lead - D&A - FMCG/BFS (10-20 yrs)
D&A L2 - Analytics Lead
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Build a best-in-class Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (D&A CoE) in Data and Analytics, including internal teams and external partners to conceptualize and deliver analytics solutions relevant to BAL's objectives
- Develop, define and drive the data and analytics strategy for BAL
- Build a culture that promotes data-driven decisions backed by investigation and collaboration around data, including identifying sources of relevant data outside the organization
- Engage business leaders to identify opportunities for data and analytics to impact key business-relevant metrices and get executive sponsorship for such initiatives
- Build strong delivery competencies with a judicious blend of internal talent and external partner ecosystem
Technical/ Functional:
- Strong Business acumen and analytics skills with proven experience of using data and analytics to conceptualize and deliver analytics solutions in production environments (not PoC or prototype)
- Strong grounding in applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning and AI to enhance value of data and develop best-in-class analytics solutions
- Extensive experience, knowledge and connects with the Data and Analytics ecosystem (in India and globally) to develop a strong data and analytics partner ecosystem including established, emerging and start-up partners)
- Hands-on competency with data handling and transformation, Model evaluation and building, and production deployment of models
- Deep understanding of data engineering, management and handling techniques and technology for both structured and unstructured data
- Substantial exposure to database, ETL and other data processing techniques is an added advantage
- Adequate understanding of digital technologies like Cloud, Mobility and Cybersecurity to ensure compliance to applicable Data security, Privacy and other regulatory requirements/standards

- Excellent ability to communicate data and analytics outputs to business leaders, as well as business needs and context to technical experts - translation of business and analytics problems and solutions
- Experience of delivering and operating analytics products / models in productive environment
