Analytics & Insights Lead

Overview:

Handle Enterprise Data driven Analytics and Insights leveraging a diverse and complex database of applications and social media to fuel Digital transformation. He/She shall create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualization, and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner

Responsibilities:

Financial

- Optimize development timeliness, efforts and costs

- Positively influence Business Financial results through data driven proactive decision support

- Overall IT TCO reduction through optimal Analytical Capability development and deployment

Customer

- Co-own and drive the Digital Transformation agenda

- Business Engagement with IT

- Satisfaction levels of all Internal IT Groups as a supplier

- Solve business problems with data insights

- Develop differentiating capabilities for business leveraging cognitive and predictive analytics

Process

- Optimized and lean Analytical capability development

- Facilitate new Analytical Data Algorithm introduction

- Ensure right mix of Security, Standards and Scale

- Work closely with BE Insights teams

Capability

- To manage and engage a large and diverse team

- Key Technical support for CIO from Data Analytics

- To exploit the Cloud model and work on introducing disruptive new technologies

- Ability to evaluate new age technology options

Measurable deliverables

- No. of new differentiating business focused algorithms deployed in Analytics

- Optimally utilized vendor application development workforce and on-time project delivery

- No. of critical business problems solved

- Definition of an Enterprise Analytics Strategy and execution as per timelines

Capabilities/Skills/Experience:

Lead hands-on role in at least 2 end to end enterprise wide projects of setting up an analytical platform with SAP and non SAP data sources using one of the following leveraging either Qlik or Power BI or Tableau or SAAS as presentation layer:

AWS RedShift, AWS Lake, AWS Glue, Amazon Elasticsearch, Amazon Kinesis, amazon Athena

or

Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure HDInsight, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake

or

Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Dataflow

- Strong data modelling and data transformation and data extraction expertise with multiple data sources with hands on experience

- Lead hands-on role in atleast 2 end to end projects for building Data Warehouses like SAP BI/BW or equivalent

- Hands on expertise in designing and implementing in Big Data Tools like Hadoop for atleast 2 projects

- Hands on experience of establishing Standards and Governance Processes in Analytics and data science

- Hands on experience in leading Predictive and Cognitive Analytics projects

- Designing and Governing Organizational API Strategy

- Functional knowledge of Business Processes in Go-to-Market, Supply Chain and Manufacturing

- Hands on experience on building AI and ML capabilities and platforms leveraging Analytics

- TOGAF or ZACHMAN certification with R Language certification
