Analyst - Venture Capital Fund - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Position: Analyst - Venture Capital Fund (Leading Venture Capital Funding Company)

Role:

- The Analyst will assist other team members on allocated tasks across research, investing, reporting, asset management and all other tasks that the fund team may undertake

- Research: Identifying and analysing sectors for investments, Provide comprehensive research on industry, supply chain, competition, technological advancements, and regulatory environment, Create and update research papers and Prepare regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information across sectors of investment

- Investment and Transaction Execution: Analyse specific investment opportunities for investment, Creating financial model and conducting various financial analysis on investments, Supporting the investment team for the structuring and executing of transactions, Assist and coordinate due diligence, assist in preparation of invesment papers/ presentations and term sheets and other legal documents

- Asset Management: Analyse monthly, quarterly and annual performance of portfolio companies, Participate in asset management activities, Tracking and reporting of the transactions, Analyse M&A and fund raise opportunities and Support senior members in evaluating exit opportunities

- Preparing any marketing material/presentations

- Cater to all reporting requirements

- The role will require travel to Portfolio Companies, for new investments and for new initiatives

Requirements:

- MBA (Top tier institution)/ Chartered Accountant

- 2-4 years' experience

- Prior buy-side or sell-side investment experience would be an added advantage

- Understandingof different capital structures and instruments of equity investment

- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

- Prior experience of working with SMEs

- Advanced level skills in financial modelling

- Strong communication and presentation skills
