Analyst - Trade Support - Investment Bank

What will you be doing? Candidate is expected to support EMEA Cash trading teams with following activities

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in gathering relevant deals data and create weekly M&A packs and Share Class packs

- Gather and analyze regulatory filings revealing disclosed company shareholdings and fund activities in UK takeover names.

- Compile and standardise index and corporate action reports for all major benchmark indices

- Independently research and gather upcoming corporate actions and IPO filings

- Project upcoming index changes across benchmarks and track eligible index changes

- Develop and streamline the index ranking process using automation tools.

- The candidate should have a keen eye for details and a research oriented approach for solving problems facing the desk

What we're looking for:

The role is ideally suited towards someone who is familiar with:

- Good understanding of Cash Equity Business

The candidate must have :

- Advanced knowledge in Excel and VBA desired.

- Strong interest in Equities Markets

- Prior experience in SQL programming, basic Python scripting

- Strong analytical skills

- Eye for Detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Flexible to work long hours when required
