Analyst/SOX Tester - Financial Services

Our client is the world's well-known investment management providing financial services to the most dynamic markets in the industry. While providing innovative capital solutions is their major goal, they offer new ways for companies to scale their business while maintaining control of critical aspects. They are looking for a SOX Tester in their Finance Department, who can manage primary functions end to end.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Management of all financial service level procedures along with audit control in terms of SOX guidelines.

- Assist with preparation of process flows and controls by coordinating with all functions.

- Review and maintain transactional testing of the business along with documentation of the IT control.

- Managing end to end generation and facilitation of UAT.

- Overlook and implement all user workflow methodologies in the life cycle.

- Recognize potential for greater process and reporting efficiencies and make recommendations for improvements.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the financial services, mainly on Sarbanes Oxley (Big 4 experience is a plus).

- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance, Certified degree in MBA or preferable CFA.

- Strong knowledge of Controls and SOX.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

- Skills: Analytical skills, Interpersonal skills, Problem Solving, Flexible, Multi-Tasking, Creative, Ethically strong.

- Excellent knowledge in GRC Tools (Archer is a plus).
