Role/Job Description:
The Client Research Centre (CRC) is being set up in EDC to create a new offshore capability to service client-orientated requirements from the four service lines in UK, to leverage economies of scale and accelerate our speed to market.
The vision is:
A central capability providing bid-winning, relationship-building market intelligence and research during the pre-engagement and engagement phases of the client relationship.
Bid, Client Research and Market intelligence:
Available to a world class standard, within agreed service levels
Produced efficiently and cost effectively by experts in the UK and EDC
Allow degree of control by SLs \Internal Clients over EDC team members
Practitioners- time is released to focus on the account and client outputs
Work on process-driven research assignments such as company profiling, company Analytical snapshots, quarterly briefing books, competitive intelligence, industry briefings, thought leadership & eminence research, newsletters, press search, executive profiling etc.
Conduct exhaustive secondary research across proprietary databases such as Factiva, OneSource, Thomson Research, Bloomberg etc. and presenting outputs in MS PowerPoint/MSWord
Consistently engage with the Deloitte practitioners/leaders, interpret their requirements, staff projects while managing the communication flow throughout
Help develop key intelligence questions and design a research approach and story board using Mintos/industry specific methodologies to address these questions.
Review of proposals and presentations to ensure they are visually appealing, impactful and meet the requisite quality standards
Extend ongoing support(or lead) to a business unit strategy initiative around business development, knowledge management, quality, process improvement etc.
Understanding of the Management Consulting environment(preferably, global/UK)
Ability to gather strategic market intelligence, regular market monitoring, company and competitor intelligence.
Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights

Experience:
0.6-4 years of experience in business research preferably in a KPO set up / professional services firm
Banking and/or financial services industry experience
Qualification/s:
MBA or equivalent from tier 2 B Schools only
CFA Level 1/2, but not mandatory
Timings : 11am to 8 am
