Analyst/Senior Analyst - Model Validation - Banking domain (IIT Candidates only)

- We have openings with one of our client in Bangalore location for model validation profile.

Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

- Manages solution development from start to finish

- Problem definition

- Data identification and cleaning

- Data analysis and Statistical modelling

- Recommendations to senior management

- Implementation and monitoring of solution

- Consult with business partners to develop and implement statistical solutions (scoring models and valuations models) to address and influence complex business problems that maximize business value and enhance customer experience

- Develop project plans and manage expectations and deliver results through self and/or others

- Apply statistical techniques to various analytical projects to analyze data and build models

- Model monitoring, including working with third parties and making recommendations on model performance

The desired experience and skill set for the ideal candidate include:

- Experience with logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis and other statistical techniques

Level of experience: 2+ years

- Degree in a quantitative major - engineering from premier institutes

- Impeccable written and oral communication skills, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Leveraging education, colleagues and training opportunities to develop solutions to business problems

- Conceptual thinking skills complemented by strong quantitative orientation

- A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics

- End to end solution development

Specific nature of work:

- Employ software, computer science, and advanced mathematical and statistical methods to design, analyze, build, validate, and help implement quantitative predictive models in order to solve business-level problems

- Perform validation on variety of Card, Bank, Finance to include input data integrity and inference, bench marking of model design choices and techniques, replication of model estimation and production quality

- Will lead a group or be an individual contributor in the validation of AML compliance models, credit or market risk related models used to measure risk of a wide range of financial assets, as well as calculating regulatory and economic capital.

- Work in an interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize customer-impacting products and experiences using statistical and machine learning algorithms for different businesses
