- Work collaboratively with stakeholders & plants located in the US

- Identify gaps/challenges in the inbound supply chain and develop solutions to plug the gaps & mitigate service risk on raw materials thereby improving efficiency & effectiveness of the network

- Work closely with mid-size and large plants (plants with material codes more than 1500, Challenging RM replenishment strategies, High RM supply risk, High write off risk, Increased working capital, Significant Space constraints, Unique operational challenges)

- Work on analytics to set up optimal Order parameters for raw materials to ensure efficient and effective Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

- Monitor the health of inbound supply chain at a location and facilitate/coordinate with diverse groups/teams to provide comprehensive solutions that would enable smooth flow of raw materials in the inbound supply chain and ensure their availability at the plants

- Identify the root cause of issues surfacing in the inbound supply chain & develop solutions to mitigate supply risk

- Share insights for material supply escalations at the given location/plant

- Discuss/prioritize chronic issues with locations - Vendor, Transportation, Sourcing, Escalations, Material set up, Planning, etc.

- Planning parameters health check

- Share progress on the resolution of issues with the locations

- Develop/review inventory recommendations and targets (DOS, Safety Stock, Drivers of inventory, etc.)

- Work with business teams and highly complex material category to provide analytical insights for inbound supply chain

- Design / develop holistic inbound networks to reduce risk, reduce material cost, optimize loads and improve plant's agility

- Develop optimal replenishment and inventory strategies for raw materials

- Execute Material Forecast Alignment (MFA) process

- Deliver optimal raw material forecasts to enable category procurement strategies

- Supply chain risk assessment

- Work out the cost of various strategies to facilitate improved decision making

- Identify opportunities & develop solutions to bring efficiencies to the process

- Sustain HMM (Cost savings) initiatives
