Analyst/Senior Analyst - Client Services - BFSI (4-6 yrs)
The client services team is a global team providing wide range of financia services to asset managers and investment banks.
Required Qualification:
Mandatory
1. Bachelor's/Master's Degree (Preferred) in Finance/Economics
2. Excellent in Microsoft Office - especially Excel
3. Decent organisational skills
4. Good understanding of Capital Markets / Asset Management Operations / Investment Banking
Added Advantage
1. Experience preferred in Asset Management / Financial sector / Investment Banking
2. Prior Client Services experience
3. Financial certification or knowledge of Mifid II regulations
The key responsibilities of this role would be :
1. Be direct point of contact for Asset Managers and CSA Brokers to ensure smooth daily reconciliation/payment process. Escalate issues and queries in a timely fashion to the team leads
2. Build excellent working knowledge of the payments/reconciliation software functionality, to be able to execute each task accurately and timely
3. Capture key data points and help build MI reports that will be presented to internal and external stakeholders
4. Confidently use excel to analyse, compare data sets and derive conclusive action points from them
5. Pro-actively respond to emails and calls, ensuring all queries are addressed and escalate any issues, risks or uncertainties to team leads
6. Streamline and improvise on the existing guidelines/processes for reconciliations and payments
7. Resolve reconciliation breaks following established procedures, responding to broker queries on any queries regarding these breaks
8. Document & maintain all internal processes up to date and actively contribute towards building a knowledge repository
9. Demonstrate good understanding of client requirements and needs and be able to communicate these eloquently to any internal or external stakeholders
