Analyst/Senior analyst- Auditing /Audit (Only CA's)

Primary responsibilities will include :

- Assist the team managing the accounting function for the renewable energy business.

- Work with the controller, accounting team, asset managers and outsourced accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of business activity and completing the monthly and quarterly close cycles.

- Work on initiatives related to establishing, standardizing, optimizing and documenting accounting processes, workflows, and internal accounting controls.

- Assist preparing quarterly and annual financial statements for various project entities and holding companies.

- Prepare for and support the external auditors in completing the annual statutory audits for various holding companies and subsidiaries.

- Review financing and equity agreements and contracts to identify and track financial reporting requirements of the related entities.

- The ideal candidate would be a Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant, with 2-3 years of work experience, who can work independently with limited direction and guidance. The candidate should have good understanding of US GAAP.

- Audit experience and any previous experience in Energy/Real Estate/Financial Services sector would be an advantage. Understanding of financing agreements and contracts such as Credit Agreement and equity investment agreements is a must.

- The profile requires regular interaction with US and Hyderabad-based teams as well as external parties, and the candidate should possess excellent written and spoken communication skills.
