Analyst - Research - Environment Social Governance

ESG Analyst Job Description : 

- Assess the environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and impact of potential projects, input to investment documentation and expert board meetings

- On-going ESG monitoring and engagement with existing investments

- Support the investment platform on developing ESG policy for new investment funds

- Maintain an understanding of international best practice on ESG management to ensure that Althelia Funds- ESG policies and procedures remain best-in-class

- Work as part of a small collaborative team

Person specification : 

Essential:

- Minimum 3 years- experience applying environmental and social standards (ideally IFC Performance Standards)

- Experience measuring and reporting on social and environmental impacts of projects

- Master degree in an environmental or social discipline

- Excellent time management

- Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
