Analyst - Real Estate Investment - Investment Management Firm (1-3 yrs)

OPPORTUNITY : 

- Work in a global, fast-paced environment providing substantial investment support for Real Estate investments across India.

- Participate in the entire investment process from deal origination and research to execution and investment management

- Interface closely with other members of the investment team in India, Singapore and London

- Build strong relationships with their servicing, asset management and trading partners

- Report to the Managing Director of Real Estate in India

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

- Focus on the analysis, modelling, due diligence, execution and monitoring of investments in various types of asset classes

- Research and identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and monitor and research investment opportunities

- Review and summarize industry research

- Assist with valuation analysis and modelling of potential investments

- Assist with underwriting and execution of new investments

- Participate in meetings and calls with advisors, brokers, attorneys and other counterparties

- Review investment documents and structures

QUALIFICATIONS : 

- University degree (engineering, economics, finance or related preferred), MBA and /or CA from reputed institutions

- 1-3 years relevant experience in investment banking, investment management or other position where financial analysis and valuation was a primary function

- Extensive math, accounting and financial modelling skills

- Understanding of the risks and returns associated with a variety of debt and equity investments

- Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required; Familiarity with other analytical tools and research/database sources is a plus

- Strong verbal and written communication skills Personal Attributes

- Genuine interest in markets, investment management and real estate.
