Analyst - Private Equity Firm (1-3 yrs)
Client: A 12 year old Private Equity firm
Location: Chennai
Role: Analyst/Associate
Experience: 1-3 years in any finance related role like IB,Equity Research,PE etc
Qualification: CA preferred,CFA/MBA welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and screening suitable investment pipeline opportunities
- Build a network to facilitate deal sourcing and relationship building (potential) clients and other stakeholders, such co-investors and network players
- Analyse financial statements and assess financial projections
- Perform due diligence, risk assessments and equity valuations
- Preparation and presentation of Investment Committee proposals
- Participate in negotiating and structuring terms and conditions of investments
- Monitoring investment portfolio in India
- Keeping abreast of economic, financial and political developments in the region
Critical Requirements for the Role (Must-Have- s):
- Proficient in financial modelling and evaluation
- Prior experience in PE firm/IB firm
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Preferred requirements (Nice-to-have- s):
- Prior experience in private equity or venture capital
- Prior experience in buy-side/sellside transactions
