Analyst - Investment Banking - CA/IIM/MDI/ISB

Experience: 1- 2 years

Professional Qualification : Chartered Accountant or MBA from a top-tier business school

Role :

 - Work on transactions including sell-side M&A and Private Equity advisory for companies across a variety of industry sectors

- Design, build, and manage business plans and financial models including discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, leveraged buyout and merger consequences for live and contemplated PE and M&A transactions

- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations

- Perform detailed industry analyses for a variety of markets and channels

- Work with Director's on the execution of PE and M&A transactions, data room management and coordination of third party diligence process

- The responsibilities afford direct and active interaction with clients (CEOs, CFOs, etc.) where Associates are expected to attend and participate in client meetings and contribute to building and maintaining client relationships

- Work on several projects simultaneously with teams of professionals, both within the group and across the firm, including Directors and Analysts, collaborating to develop and execute solutions to meet client needs

- Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors

- Actively lead / participate in sourcing Investment Banking deals

- Supervise and develop analyst level bankers

Desired Skills :

- 1-2 years of Investment Banking experience

- Strong track record of Private Equity and M&A transaction experience

- Ability to understand the dynamics of various sectors, including value chain, strategy and key performance indicators

- Good relationships with institutional investors

- Strong client management skills

- Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously

- A critical thinker who can quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information

- Ability to conduct comprehensive research, data base searches and synthesize results

- Very strong excel and data management skills

- Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player

- High Degree of self-motivation & desire to learn

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of databases such as VCC Edge

- Passionate about work / delivering value
