Analyst - Investment Banking - CA/CFA (0-4 yrs)
1. Analyzing sectors and companies and preparing Information Memorandums (power-point presentations outlining the sector, company and deal opportunity)
2. Preparing detailed and complex financial models with all different valuation techniques
3. Evaluating transaction structures
4. Preparing transaction and trading comps, sector mapping / landscaping
5. Preparing pitch documents / teasers
6. Identifying new deal opportunities using resources like VCCircle VCCEdge, Thomson Reuters etc
7. Reaching out to prospective clients and presenting them ideas
8. Evaluating financial statements of prospective clients and developing insights into the possibility of a deal
9. Preparing target companies- profiles, financial analysis, valuations & benchmarking etc.
10. Interacting with the company promoters, top management teams and responding to investors queries as part of executing the transaction
11. Facilitating due diligence and transaction closing
Qualifications:
- 1st Attempt CA [Mandatory Qualification]
- CFA [Cleared at least Level 1]
- Candidate must have good communication skills
