Analyst - Fund Accounting - Private Equity Firm - CA

Location: Powai

Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

- Previous fund finance or fund administration experience

- Experience with credit products (loans or securities)

- Experience with general ledger accounting software

Roles & Responsibilities:

The opportunity is to support the Fund Controller on real-estate debt-funds based out of US

- Monthly and quarterly reconciliations; working with Finance and Operations team to identify and resolve differences

- Assisting in the monthly financial close process

- Assisting in ongoing compliance with internal control requirements under Sarbanes-Oxley

- Follow a loan, debt and derivative transactions from trade entry to record-keeping and reporting

- Ownership of the cash reconciliation process

- Maintenance of Excel models for loans, debt and derivatives

- Entering wire transactions into the banking system and maintenance of the corresponding record-keeping

- Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Form 10-Q/K

- Preparation of financial statement tie-out and support binder used to coordinate with our external auditors

- Working with colleagues across several groups and offices
