Analyst - Equity Research - Sell/Buy Side

Job Title: Equity Research Analyst

Reports to: Chief Investment Officer

Job Overview:

The role entails supporting the equity investment function. It involves inter alias, developing earnings and valuation scenarios for coverage companies, preparing and maintaining investment notes, evaluating new investment ideas and other support activities.

Job Responsibilities and skill set:

- The successful candidate will have excellent earnings/valuations modeling skills along with the ability to clearly and succinctly write investment thesis.

- He/she should have the passion to develop an understanding of earnings and valuation drivers of multiple sectors and to use analytical frameworks to evaluate risk-return profile of portfolio companies.

- The job would also entail tracking current and potential invested companies, interacting with company management, sell side analysts and other industry participants, etc.

Work Experience and qualification:

5-7 years of experience in a buy-side or sell-side role. Candidates with sell-side experience will be preferred. Candidates should also have an excellent academic record.
