Job Description:

OPERATIONAL PROCESS

a. Preparation stage

- Responsible for thorough ground work of understanding the business and it's intricacies from data collection perspective of the business under review given the guidelines. Gather the relevant data in collaboration with IT teams of operating company.

-Identify & define a problem in collaboration with the operating head.

- Identify the parameters / dimensions of study that are relevant to the problem at hand.

- Cull out "information" from the raw data corresponding to meaningful dimensions identified earlier using data mining techniques and tools such as SPSS / SAS/ Business Objective etc skilfully.

b. Analysis stage

- Explore and Analyse the data imaginatively to identify hidden patterns if any, in the culled out data using statistical and data mining tools.

- Carry out exploratory data analysis including any or all or some of the following to understand the problem better and move towards a solution:

- Affinity Analysis of spending behaviour

- Customer segmentation

- Customer Churn Analysis

- Promotion Responsiveness Analysis

- Product propensity model

- Predictive modelling

- Any other analysis befitting industry being analysed

- Prepare a draft report on the findings of patterns and collaborate with Business Head in ideating and brain storming in order to develop insights generated from the study.

- Use appropriate statistical tools to predict future effect of the findings to the business.

c. Reporting & Communicating the actionable findings

- Timely and accurate reporting of actionable insights gathered as an outcome of the study to Business Head for their effective consumption.

- Collect follow up data to get further insights.

- Produce ongoing strategic analytics reports including standard & customised reports

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES -

- Scheduling meetings, noting down MOM and circulating to all concerned.

- Any other responsibility as assigned by the Business head.
