Analyst - Credit Research - Global Markets - Investment Bank (0-3 yrs)
Experience : 0 - 2 years
Qualification : MBA/CA/CFA level 1/2/3 pass will be a plus
Role & Responsibilities :
- Join as an integral part of the AeJ research team.
- The role will be based out of Powai-Mumbai office and involve supporting the Head of Product Management based in Singapore on a range of topics including Equity and Fixed Income.
- Build and maintain the credit page for companies.
- Track and report news/events on coverage names, and highlight the significant events that can affect the credit of the companies.
- Build marketing presentations.
- Assist in the research production process.
- Initially, the role will be database heavy and over the period the candidate may be expected to assist in writing credit commentary in research reports.
- Conduct research, including preliminary research and data gathering, on topics or sub-topics as laid out by the Head of Product Management, for eventual publication in the form of equity research reports.
- Top-down monitoring of stocks across Asia to develop thematic stock research reports.
Mind Set :
- Candidate should have 0-2 years of experience in Credit Research
- Candidate should have good understanding of the credit and convertible debt market
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, Bloomberg and Credit-related aspects of a company
- Good research writing skills
- Ability to formulate and articulate views logically
- Distinctive academic record: consistently highly graded within their peer groups
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and oral) with attention to details
- Solid analytical skills, including the ability to perform data analysis
- Keen attention to details
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS PPT
- Ability to work under pressure, multitasking and meet deadlines
- A good understanding of equity market will be a plus.
