Analyst - Credit Analysis - FIG/Global Bank (3-12 yrs)

- The Credit Risk Analyst is required to have comprehensive credit analysis skills and an ability to evaluate and underwrite complex counterparties in the Corporate, Banking and Asset Manager sectors. The analyst is responsible for detailed monitoring of their assigned portfolio and the timely escalation to management of any material issue impacting their assigned portfolio. The analyst will work closely with junior staff, providing training and aiding in the development of credit skills. The Credit Risk Analyst is required to submit credit analysis memorandums for review and approval as part of the underwriting process and performs applicable portfolio maintenance responsibilities. 


- Credit analysis memorandums should evaluate liquidity, operating performance, cash flow sensitivity, debt repayment capacity industry or country information, key risks and financial projections, as applicable. The incumbent is responsible for identifying industry / country trends/ risks and providing recommendations regarding credit exposure. Depending on the portfolio assigned, the analyst will be expected to participate in special projects including industry or country Pools of Risk and adhoc reports for senior management. 


- The Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate rating of each borrower and all facilities in their assigned portfolio, as well as the monitoring, review and remediation of credit risk reference data to ensure accurate risk reporting.

Required Skill/Qualification : 

- Bachelor's degree required, major in Finance or Accounting preferred. MBA preferred or equivalent.

- Potential candidate should have strong oral and written communication skill; strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, Microsoft Office suite of products literacy and ability to work independently, and monitoring and advise team members.

- Work experience in risk and commercial lending in the financial or professional services industry.
