Analyst - Consulting - Power & Energy Sector

General Summary

- 2/3years plus consulting experience in energy/power sector required to execute projects primarily in areas of policy & regulatory.

- Experience in bid advisory, financial advisory, etc would be advantageous.

- Experience in the entire power sector value chain - Generation (Conventional & Renewable), Transmission and Distribution

The Role / Responsibilities:

- Execute projects of power sector clients, i.e., Regulatory Commission, Power Utilities, Private Power Companies.

- Comfortable to contribute/manage assignments including framing, MYT/ARR, tariff, business plan, etc.

- Flexibility to work in additional areas such as bid advisory, financial appraisal, distribution performance monitoring, etc.

Qualifications:

- MBA (Finance)/ MBA (Power)/Chartered Accountant

- Preference to B.E./ B. Tech. (Electrical). However, Mechanical/Electronics may also apply.

Other attributes:

- 2/3years plus of energy sector/ power & utilities consulting experience. Prior consulting experience is a must and the required experience should be the post-MBA experience. Pre-MBA experience can be apart from the post-MBA experience requirement.

- Expertise in tariff and financial modeling. Should have worked on tariff related assignments from Utility
