We are looking for Analyst (to be based in Gurgaon, but can work from home for now) with our client which is one of the top management-consulting firms in the world. In 2004, the firm established its presence in the Indian market and now has nodes across various geographies. They play a critical role in supporting teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, and private equity diligence. Their expertises are consulting services, knowledge services and shared services.

Location: Gurgaon (Work from home right now)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- Grow existing data assets and conduct research to identify additional external sources to enhance data coverage

- Assess and validate relevant data from various sources and build a basic understanding of internal/external sources that can be used

- Drive the data collection processend-to-end in collaboration with case teams and enhance proprietary database

- Ensure strict compliance to legal guidelines while collecting data

- Develop basic understanding of various sub-functions (Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Facilities Management etc.)

- Provide insightful solutions to case teams

- Collaborate closely with case teams to understand case context and provide advice on how to run benchmarking analysis

- Leverage existing database, resources and conduct secondary research to provide insightful data solutions to case teams

- Communicate knowledge and insights in an easy to understand and simplified format with clients, case teams and various stakeholders within and outside company

- Develop and enhance standardized Support Function products

- Develop a good understanding of existing products and look for opportunities to further enhance the offerings

- Collaborate with stake holders to develop new products/ solutions and provide necessary technical support

- Look for opportunities to pitch products to case teams, execute the end-to-end deployment and close loop with feedback calls

- Mentoring analysts and helping team

- Ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect analysis and output is produced by the analysts

- Help Project Lead/ Manager to manage team's responsibilities which involve allocating, planning, guiding and reviewing work

- Provide regular feedback to analysts and conduct training to ensure constant growth and improvement

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

- Be a graduate from with strong academic record

- Have minimum of 2 years of experience in the analytics/ analytics consulting industry

- Must have excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge; Exposure to Tableau, Alteryxor any other data visualization tool such as QlikView is good to have

- Proficient in research and analysis, but able to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published

- Should possess good business acumen, strong analytical and communication skills

- Should be able to manage simple cases with moderate guidance and support, and work under pressure.
