Overview

We are seeking an individual with strong technical expertise and great relationship management skills to fill a key role within the Global Reward Team.

This role is truly global, with a dual reporting structure to the GM - Compensation & Benefits based out of Australia and the Head of HR Shared Services in India.

On a day to day basis this role will work with the global compensation team on remuneration policy, practice and execution globally, as well as holding primary responsibility for compensation outcomes for Indian operation of c. 600 people.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working with Line Management groups to build and implement Compensation & Benefits solutions in line with business needs.

- Providing recommendations and solutions covering specific areas of Compensation & Benefits, including salary planning, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, vendor relationship management, and/or other services.

- Providing interpretation and counsel to Line Management regarding Compensation & Benefits policies, programs and practices.

- Researching issues and developing solutions to resolve business issues.

- Developing and implementing new Compensation & Benefits policies, practices and programs to meet organisational and Line Management needs.

This position requires an individual with strong initiative, accountability and ownership, who possesses the ability and interest in providing a quality work product and innovative recommendations for solutions and programs that drive employee engagement on a global basis.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in business or Post graduate degree in business or HR

- 5 - 8 years of experience in C&B with global exposure

- Technical expert in all areas of remuneration, including Australia and United States policy, practice and procedures

- Knowledge of analytical tools used within the benefits area to evaluate benefits costs/expenses, utilization, compliance, plan/cost modelling, etc.

- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills

Desired (but not Mandatory) Experience :

- Experience in both consulting and internal remuneration roles

- Familiar with Aon & Radford Survey products

- Experience with the Workday platform

- Highly developed interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Persuader and negotiator; able to deal with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

- Strong Customer Service mindset
