Job Overview:

Our client is a prestigious boutique investment bank, providing financial and strategic advice to our clients. Our firm is built simply on two core businesses - Corporate Finance and Alternate Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive research on the life science and healthcare sectors, identifying key market trends, investment opportunities and potential risks. Strong experience in life science research is essential

- Perform detailed financial analysis, build financial models, and conduct company valuations to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences space

- Prepare thorough investment memos and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership

- Participate in the due diligence process, assessing both the financial and operational aspects of potential investments

- Support deal structuring efforts and assist in negotiations to ensure the fund secures favorable investment terms

- Assist in fundraising activities, contribute to investor communications, and help cultivate relationships with both current and potential investors

Required Qualifications / Skills

- MBA/ CFA/ CA qualification preferred.

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or similar roles. Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences research is mandatory.

- Strong expertise in financial modelling, company valuations, and financial analysis. Proficiency with financial analysis tools and platforms is essential.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and market data to senior stakeholders effectively.

- Ability to work in team and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
